Update on Additional Learning Needs White Paper Consultation
If you navigate to the Welsh Government website and search for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) you’ll be taken to an index of ALN reforms. It’s not in alphabetical or date order but if you scroll down to the 14th of the 18 entries you’ll find one cryptically entitled 8 December: minutes and papers of a meeting of the cabinet; click on it and you’ll find yourself on a page with the same title in the Home/About/Cabinet Minutes section. It’s not indexed, so it’s not obvious what’s been discussed, but if you scroll down to the last of the 7 items you’ll find a very brief reference to an update on the ALN White Paper Consultation dated December 2014 and issued on behalf of Huw Lewis, Minister for Education and Skills, complete with a link to the relevant pdf file. Alternatively, if you want to save a chunk of your life you should find it here.
